1994 Chevy Silverado floods out at a stop

i have to hold down the gas to get it to restart , an some times a few times to restart ,its like a vacumee leak ,.. but i checked , i found 2 vac hoses switched around @evap purge can solenoid valve.

could this be the problem?

if not what may it be

Try cleaning out the idle air control valve and test the throttle position sensor-

i have been told that the throtle position senser was bad loooooooong time ago , or was going , how do i test it ? im a old school truck guy and computers and sensers are a learning deal for me ,..ya have plumbing questions , small engines questions ? how do i clean out that air senser ?

is the map senser a culprit?

Get a voltmeter-Test the TPS closed and wide open throttle voltages, if its bad long time ago I recommend you just replace it-
