truck runs ok. just smokes a little more then it should . adding water to radiator one time a week .and one quart of oil also .most of the smoke .evaporates.truck does surge at idle

Hi there,

You may be in the early stages of a head issue, have a Co test done on the cooling system, this will show up any exhaust gasses in the water, an indication of a head problem.
