I'm working on replacing the coolant hose that goes from the heater core to the intake manifold. I removed the fitting and the end of it broke off and left itself embedded inside the threads. What is the most effective way to remove the rest of the fitting so I can replace it with the new one.

drill it out and retap the threads would be the best way, you can drill it a bit and try a large easy out and see if anything happens.
