i am installing an intake kit in my chevy pickup. the kit came with a small hose that should connect the back of the intake to the valve cover breather tube. the problem is i cannot find this tube. there is only a small air filter on the valve cover. would it be ok to install the intake without connecting that hose? or is it possible to remove that air filter and buy a breather tube to replace it so i can connect the hose to the back of the intake? i would like to avoid any damage to my pickup so this project is on hold for now. any help you will be appreciated. thank you.

if your model doesnt require the hose as it has no breather tube then simply dont hook it up.

i would plug the hose off.

you could buy a breather assembly and fit it to the truck if you would like, wouldnt hurt anything.
