Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1989 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic
Hi,I had asked a question yesterday and was answered real fast , thank you very much for responding quickly but I`m thinking It is`nt the right question, maybe i asked it wrong so I`m gonna try again, could be my fault or even chances are I don`t understand the answer you gave me,so,.. we recentley had gotten 3 inches of snow yesterday,I drove my truck down to the store and I tried to engage the 4 wheel drive which is done by a shifter on the floor I pull it back towards the seat and it is super easy to pull back and does not engage in the 4 wheel drive so I had to stop the truck put the main shifter in neutral and push the 4 wheel shifter in 4 low which is all the way to the dashboard and it engaged with no problem,( I do not have manuel hubs ) I checked under the truck to see if I can see the 4 wheel drive linkages as the shifter was moving back and forth and it was(thought maybe shifter linkage was broken cause of being so lose) but watched it move ..4 low works everything works on 4 wheel shifter accept the 4 wheel drive high? hopefully i explained a little better.thank you again for first quick response.
