hi I do have a truck chevrolet 2000 4.3 engine size and I having touble with the distributor, I was trying to replace the camshaft position sensor but when I try to take off could not do it, so I decide to take the whole distributor assembly and then I did replace the sensor, but when I put it back in it the truck wont start so please could sombody tell me what I did wrong. tankyou.

OK PAL, YOU NEED TO KNOW WHICH CYLINDER IS #1 ON YOUR ENGINE

REMEMBER YOUR ENGINE IS SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT THAN THE ONE YOU ARE ABOUT TO SEE

THE PROCEDURE IS EXACTLY THE SAME---EVEN ON A 4 CYLINDER THRU A 10 CYLINDER

WATCH THIS THRU SEVERAL TIMES...PAY ATTENTION TO "REMOVED WITHOUT ANY REFERENCES"---BASICALLY "HERE IT IS ON THE TABLE, PUT IT IN!"

IF YOU DID NOT MARK THE BODY OF THE DISTRIBUTOR AND THE ENGINE, YOU ARE GONNA NEED A TIMING LIGHT AND THE "EXACT" PROCEDURE IN SETTING THE TIMING (MIGHT HAVE TO DISCONNECT A WIRE OR VACUUM LINE WHILE TIMING)
