S-10 Back up switch

1997 S-10 4 cyl. manual transmission with 97000 miles, back up lights do not work , all other lights work, seems to be missing back up light switch connection but I cannot locate switch. Where is it located? Picture would help. :(

With 2.2 engine it's the B/U light switch, on the right side of the tranny.
4.3 on left side!
