no power to brakes

1996 chevy s10 4.2L 290000 miles, 5 speed manual trans. no power to the brakes, pedal is high and when the brakes are applied at a stand still in neutral the engine revs up. This all happened after ABS on sand????

Is the pedal real hard as if the booster isnt working? double check vacuum to the booster, it could be bad

good vacume to booster, could the booster itself be "stuck". ? is the booster easy to check out and work on? any help will be appreciated. thank$

There is a check valve at the booster. Be sure it isnt stuck, if it works then you will need to replace the booster
