I own a 1994 Chevrolet S10 Blazer with a 4.3 liter engine. I have a quick question. I tried to recharge my A/C and it wouldn't accept the freon. Is there a pressure or reset switch to get it to accept the freon? Thank you for your time.

I bought a conversion kit from Wal-Mart and I followed the instructions. I had my A/C system tested and was told that it was out of freon. I was also told that my compressor won't come on without any freon. I tried to get the system to accept the freon per the instructions with no effect. I had the truck running with the A/c on.

Doe your fittings looks like this

The LOW side fitting is usually located on the suction hose or line that goes from the accumulator to the compressor. The HIGH side fitting is located on the line that goes from the compressor to the condenser
