Hi, I’m New to the forum...

I just got my hands on this pickup and I'm looking for recommendations of several MODS I would like to do on the truck, I will be posting the questions separately, to generate related separate discussions.

Currently the truck has a CAT + Muffler w/ Single exhaust pipe.

My goal is to get a two tail pipes system… Preferably for performance reasons but for cosmetic ones as well.

The dilemma: I don’t know if I should go with a single muffler with two tail pipes (probably the cheapest route) or could I go two individual mufflers and would I need to get two separate CATS and would this require me to get different Headers?

Oh, and lastly would achieving any of these exhaust MODS cause concern with my 0/2 sensor and computer performance issues on this 87 pickup???

I really don’t want to have to spend too much cash to achieve this project. So any suggestion to get a descent sounding and looking rear exhaust system that may help add a few HP’s would be great…

Thank you in advance for your recommendations..

My question is, do you have to go thru an annual emission testing/IM-240-if so you are not gonna make it.

Modifications/Tampering will render it No-go.
