Brakes

I own a 1996 S10 ZR2, 4.3 L engine. I purchased it new, it has just shy of 60.000 miles. I have always been concerned about the brakes on this truck. It has disc in front and drum in the rear. Just last week I had an accident and rear ended someone because I could not stop in time. I had plenty of time (probably 75 feet going 50 mph) but when I hit the brakes I just wasn't slowing down. What can I do to increase my braking power that will not cost me a mint? Thank you very much for your help.

one of the easiest ways is convert the drums to disk brakes you will get ver 75% more stopping power, also try new brake pads.

I replace swith in the pedal brake, the swith for rhe signal ligth & i still don't see ligth brakes, i replace bulbs, I can't fine the problem, please help me out.

take off the BOO switch and hook the wires up and manualy operate it by hand does pushing it in or letting it out turn the lights on, if so readjust it.

if not check behind the tailights there may be a relay behind them.
