98 S-10 blazer. blinker relay periodically gives normall blinker relay sound even when blinkers not turned on. replace relay with same results. otherwiser blinkers work normally. got into it a bit last night and on wire harness going to blinker handle assy the 4th wire from top closest to steering wheel was periodically getting 6-12 volts and this would coincide with the relay clicking. seems to be some type of bleed through. bad blinker/wiper/ cruise assy?

S-10s are really bad about shorting out in that area. I have a 91 and sometimes my wipers just go off for no reason. Unless it really bothers you I wouldnt worry about it. But if you do worry about it I would suggest getting a haynes or chilton manuel they have wiring diagrams of the electrical system that might help.
