i have an 87 s10 blazer with a 2.8 liter v6 engine, and its a 4 weel drive. i need to replace the starter. ive gotten it unwired and unbolted, but i can't get it out. i can only get it so far up because of the exhaust, and directly in front of it the motor mount seems to be in the way, although ive backed out the bolt in the mount for a little extra clearance. it moves around pretty loosely but i just cant get it far enough out of the bell housing to drop it through the space where the crossmember has been taken off. ive tried working through the wheel well and from underneath, and i just dont know what to do. can anyone help me?
