2002 Chevy S-10 fuel pump/relay?

Im working on my s10 and it started stalling out fuel pump quit running so i replaced the relay worked fine then it started acting up again and the only way i could get the fuel pump to go on if removed relay and put a jump wire then removed wire and put back relay then it would work fine for awhile but now that wont work at all so i got anew relay put it in started right up but if i push down or on the relay engine will kill so basically i have the relay in but not pushed down all the way is fusebox bad or what NEED HELP PLEASE THIS FREAKING TRUCK IS DRIVING ME CRAZY oh also the engine light is not on and fuel pump was changed last year ok HELP PLEASE

Sounds like the contacts in the relay center have lost there tension. They are crimped to the wires and then just lock into the back of the plastic. Not fun but not real hard to replace. You also will want to test the current flow to the pump. As the pumps age they start to draw more amps and that heats up the contacts and causes them to fail.
