The oil pressure gauge started flailing back a forth first high then low then leveled out in a higher position than normal. Next day truck wouldn't start, all fuses where checked. Fuel pump not yet tested.Could it be an oil pressure swtch? If so , where is that located. I want to elliminate all possible other things before dealing with the fuel pump. I think there is only one fuel pump and it is in the tank!
Let us pray...oil pressure switch...oil pressure switch. pLease say it could be that.

i dont know what the fuel pump would have to do with the oil gauge but if u want to check fuel pump just get under it and have some one turn the key on u will hear the motor start in t he tank if its workin or spray some starter fluid in the air intake and see if it wants to turn over
