2000 Chevy S-10 Dorman oil cooler lines

I want to replace my oil cooler lines with the Dorman oil cooler lines. However, I notices that the connector to the radiator is different from the origional factory. What do I have to do to make the Dorman lines connect to my radiator properly?

what kind of dorman lines are you putting on? take pictures is the best way for me to help you

I cannot download pictures for some reason. However, my old line, that connects to the radiator has a nut and then a flare end on it and it snaps into the connector to the radiator and is held by a clip. The new hose end is different and only has a flared end on it and doesn't seem to fit all the way into the radiator connector like the old factory line. The new line also comes with a round plastic piece, that I assume takes place of the nut? Also, I don't know if there are supposed to be o-rings on the radiator connecting end too. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

you can always cut the hose and put it on with a hose clamp. can you find your hoses online and get me a link to it?

Well, I finally got it fixed. I just wasn't pushing the line into the radiator connector hard enough. I really had to force the top one with a lot of pressure. Finally it went. Thanks for the replies.
