Randomly my truck will not move from idling to accelerating in first gear whether trying to move forward or in reverse. Clutch feels like it is able to move as it usually does, and I can move it in and out of gear, but when in gear and trying to accelerate, I stay put. The engine will rev up and RPMs increase, but the car stays right where it is. And no, Im not pressing on the break and the parking break was previously disengaged. It has happened when trying to move out of a parking space, or when trying to accelerate after being at a stop sign or light. This started about a year ago and has happened 6-10 times and each time the environmental situation is a little different.

Sounds like you need a new clutch assy-its slipping, not moving with increase acceleration
