My brake pedal suddenly is soft and doesn't pinch the calipers until it's pushed pretty far down to the floor.
When I push the pedal all the way down, the brake warning light comes on. Not the ABS light, but the other one.
I checked all over for leaks in lines but couldn't find any. And the master-cylinder reserve isn't low on fluid.
I'm assuming it needs a new master cylinder. This is the first auto that I've owned with ABS.
Is there anything I need to know special about replacing a master cylinder with ABS brakes? Is there some air trap thing that could happen?
Thanks.
