Had engine analyzed ,results were mosfire #2 cylinder. Possible causes were vacuum leak, or bad catalyitic converter. Car good had to drive about 100 miles to get home, and engine went bad. Had engine pulled out and I tore it dowand . #2 rod bearing was pounded. put in used engine and used all old electronics, after a few mile CE light came back on. Could my bearing failure be due to electronic problem?

The bearing wouldn't be causing a sensor to go bad. Have you had the computer scanned?
