1998 Chevy S-10 IAC? MAF? TPS?

Hello. I just purchased a 1998 S-10 with a 2.2L, manual trans. Cold starts are fine and it runs good till I shut it off. Upon warm starts, more often than not, it will crank as if it is not getting fuel. If I mash the gas petal to the floor, it will start, puff some black smoke, and idle rough for a few seconds, then it is good to go.
To me, it almost seems like the IAC motor is sticking, but then I feel as if it could be the MAF sensor. If you have any ideas, I would appreciate the feedback. Thank you.

Sounds like a leaking fuel injector, and the engine is flooded.

That's what I thought at first, but while it acted up, before starting, I checked the fuel rail and there was pressure there. If it was a leaking injector, there would not be pressure in the fuel rail before turning the ignition on.

depends on how bad the leak is. you would have to let it sit with a pressure gauge on it to get an accurate idea.

You have too many things suggesting it's flooded.
Mashing the pedal down to the floor is how you clear a flooded fuel injected car.
You get a puff of black smoke.
and the stumbling idle until the extra fuel is cleared.

That's all I can suggest you test at this point. is to see if the presser bleeds down. presser testers are only about 35 bucks.
