1998 Chevy S-10 exhaust

did it rot out or did it just unbolt from the ends of the pipe?

not sure if "rotted out" clamp is in good condition there seems to be a flat wound wire up inside under clamp where flex pipe goes. Not sure how this attaches , cannot find a picture or a diagram of this.

You can take and put a smaller diameter exhaust pipe in there or take the same size and weld collars on it then clamp them on the old pipe or just replace the flex pipe and exhuast piping a few inches before it or after it..
