1998 Chevy S-10 Compressor clutch not engaging

It all started when I replaced the Battery,,
Seems like the next day I couldn't get any cold air. I checked the fuses and relay they are fine.. What the heck,,

No, I have no power to the clutch.

You need to work back looking for power. Check the relay...

I checked the relay,,, actually I swap out the relay with the horn relay, and the horn still worked,, so just assumed the A/C relay was good... I guess I'll start from the plug and work backward. I have had a problem with pack rats. eating through vac. hoses..

Hey guy's spent most the morning chasing down a solution..
Wirng is all good, I believe that I am low on R-134a.
After chasing wires I finally started the truck and jumped across the contacts of the cycling switch. the clutch engaged. Still blows warm air after 5 min.
I'm not clear on which tap is the low side,,Is it the one on the accumulator???
