97 S-10 2wd 4cyl auto.trans. When it is being driven at night, the headlights will go off by themselves. If you fiddle with the high/low beam switch for a second, the headlights will come back on. It does have driving lights that come on as soon as you start the vehicle, but not bright enough to drive with. Could this be a short or is there a sensor somewhere? The truck has set for a while, due to we dont use it very much, but now my daughter is using it and told me this is happening. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
