my 1997 chevy blazer it has been missing every since i bought it a couple of months ago it really acts like its not getting gas when it starts missing and about 2 weeks ago fuel pump went out it just shut off going down the road would turn over fine but wouldnt start checked the fuel pressure and it was about 20lbs so i replaced the fuel pump started right up been driving it for about 2 weeks now still misses r is straving for gas but it doesnt do that all the time one time it will do it then the next time u drive it it runs fine so today i started smelling gas and and it started missing very bad when i mashed the gas it would almost die and when it finally did die it would not start back just like before when the fuel pump went out so could what ever is causing the missing cause the furl pump to go bad
