1997 Chevy S-10 changing spark plugs

I attempted changing spark plugs, wires, dist cap and rotor on my 97 chevy s10 pickup. I have read some remarks on this process such as going through the wheel well but there is not enough room to do that. Does anybody else have an easy solution?

to go through the wheel well you will have to remove the debris and water shield from the wheel well to open it up, from there you can get right at them.
