1997 Chevy S-10 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

my ac clutch does not engauge. i tried to run power straight from the battery to bypass any switches but it would not engauge. No power from the regular connection. does not have low side pressure switch. all relays are fine too. fuse is not blown in fuse box.

When testing the clutch, did you run B+ and ground both from the battery? if the clutch won't engage, maybe a bad clutch. My database does show an ac pressure sensor.

yes on the high side is a sensor with 3 wires, i can not find a diagram to find out these 3 wires. I believe the clutch is bad since i could not jump it, but no power from the wire going to the clutch, how do i jump the 3 wire high pressure switch to see if power will then register on the clutch wire connection.

You could use a jumper with inline fuse between the ref voltage and signal. It may not work with 5 volts, you may need to cut it back. You could also ground the coil side of the clutch relay, with the key on, then, there should be voltage at the compressor connector.
