I have found several leaks in the coolant system due to cheap hose clamps and worn out hoses. I have been steadily replacing them but there is one hose that I embarrassingly cannot find where it is supposed to attach into the rest of the coolant system. I have gone through each page in my repair manual and searched the internet but cannot even find a diagram of the hoses.

The coolant reservior has two hoses: one is attached to the radiator just under the radiator cap and the other I found hanging free as though it is supposed to dump coolant to the ground. This is the hose that I cannot figure out where it is supposed to be attached.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

that hose just hanging there belongs there. it is simply an overflow system for the coolant resevoir. prevents excessive pressure build up and allows expansion and contraction of the system.
