1994 Chevy S-10 Leaking compressor

My question is I used a product called quest super seal to attempt to fix a leak in my ac compressor. I had my doubts that it would work and it didnt yet its been bout 24 hours and Ive drove it with the system on max for a little over a hundred miles. should i give it more time? and if I take the compressor off and put a new compressor on is the sealant that I put in going to freeze up the other hardware in my ac system and of course end up with me replacing the entire ac system instead of just the compressor or will I be fine to just change out the old compressor with the new

HI there,

If i had $1 for every person that used a magic fixit in a can and had no result i would be a very rich mechanic, these just don't work, and if by chance they do, it is just a stop gap that is sure to fail again, to be honest i just don't know what this stuff will do, but i would be getting the comp replaced and the system vacuumed down (this must be done regardless) to try and remove all traces of the "stuff" the receiver dryer will also have to be replaced, as it is the filter for the system and it well be very contaminated, luckily the receiver dryer will be re[placed as well under normal conditions with the system being opened to atmosphere any way.
