1994 Chevy S-10 is there such a thing as a rebuilt catalyti

First, I never heard of a remanufactured catylatic converter. I don't believe they reman. them.

Second, replacing spark plugs isn't too hard, but I need to know if you know where they are on the engine.

I know what they look like, but not necessarilly where they are on a 1994 chevy s10 pickup:) I understand that there is some tool to get them out and some other tool to measure the point between the metal and what seems to look ceramic.
I understand also that the wires that go on top need to be replaced..It seems that it is quite important that I don't get them mixed up so possibly do one at a time? That is about it.

The plugs are bolted into the head. Follow the plug wires to the engine and it will lead you to the plugs. And yes, do one wire at a time. Finally, when you get the plugs, ask the parts store for the plug gap. They will tell you how large the gap should be on the plug. At the end of the plug is a metal tab and there is a gap between it and the center of the bottom known as the electrode. That is what needs to be gapped to a certain thousands of an inch. You will need a feeler gauge to set it. Most parts stores will sell one about the size of a silver dollar for around a buck. If you are confused, ask the salesperson to tell you the gap for your vehicle (they will have that) and show you how to do it.
