I bought a 1996 chevy s-10 motorand all the plug ins worked but the crank censor. I own a 1994 s-10 chevy. Both have the same motor. So i believe that the coil pack isnt firing because of the censor. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help me considering im new at this.

It is all the same but one sensor it want plug .
why don’t you replace that sensor with the one from the old engine you know it plugs OK
ECM depend on sensors to determine where is each cylinder position in relation to the cam shaft
with out it no fire
good luck let me know
