I was driving my s10 and everything was working fine. I stopped to get gas and when I got back in the car and pushed the clutch in to start the car it went straight to the floor. It gave no earlier signs of going out it just all of a sudden stopped working. At first I thought maybe the fluid level was low but when I checked it was full. If you could tell me what would cause this I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Failed master cylinder or slave or even a broken line. Any of the above would cause your problem.
