drove through water. truck stalled, then cranked but will only get up to 20 mph.

Welcome to the forum, I'd check for codes. Maybe give you a direction? Maybe a sensor got wet, a fuse or something shorted out?

If datalink connector looks like the above picture. Turn the key just to on position, no crank, use jumper wire between A & B terminals, the check engine lite starts flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes.
