After putting on a new head gasket and putting everything back together, I cannot start my S10 as there is no spark. Any ideas?

first off make sure the distributer is installed correctly and check all connections just incase u missed something.if u have no spark try changing the ignition controll module,u can find used ones at your local junkyards just so you can try and not spend to much on a new one.just look for cars with 2.5 4 cylinder like 83 to 89 century or 85 to 88 s10 with 4 or 6 bangers dont matter.the icm is in the distributer just remove the cap and you will see it there its black and has to screws on each side, very simple to change.also check the coil.but id see the icm first you might have wet it.
