1991 Chevy S-10 all circuts grounded on both sides

i disconnect the battery
whith a test light on the positive post and then again on the positive lead

the circut is complete

sometimes i have a bit of power to the dome light....
and as soon as i put in the key, all systems die

i just dont have the time to put off parts and start to ohm them all out!!!
can you help me before i shove it off of a cliff

i disconnect the battery whith a test light on the positive post and then again on the positive lead the circut is complete You have a short circuit somewhere in the electrical system start removing fuses one at a time till your test light turns off, this is where your trouble circuit is. Better off use an ammeter sse bleow
