I have a 2000 prizm 130000 mi, with a 3 speed auto trans. VIN # 1Y1SK5287YZ4XXXXX. I swapped the the engine and trans from a 2002 prizm 9000 mi, 4 speed od trans VIN # 1Y1SK52812Z4XXXXX.
I am having a problem with the transmission not shifting, when it is in D the trans stays in 3rd gear, bit if you shift it manually it will go from L to 2nd than 3rd on drive. I have the plug that goes to the trans with 3 wires, I don't know how of where to attempt to connect them.
Any help would be appreacated on what to do to get the trans to shift automatically, and getting it to go into OD would be a plus.
