I have a 2001 chevy impala LS with a 3.5 engine.
The vehicle has only 25000 miles and runs beautifully.
Every so often when starting to move in drive
the transmission seems to default to third gear rather than starting off in first gear.There is always that
quick jerk. Any ideas about what the problem might
be and what to do about it.
