i have a 79 chevy 3/4 ton pickup i have no backing lights, turning signals, or emergency lights i have checked the fuses they are all good i accidentally broke the emergency light button by pulling it out to hard but they dont flash they stay on all the time. when i try to turn the turning signals on smoke starts comingnout of the steering wheel. when i turn off the truck the emergency lights stay on but dont flash so i end up having to undo a battery cable so it wont kill the battery any suggestions??
