I just purchased a 2006 chev equinox awd, 24000 miles. When I shut off the engine and open the door, I get the ding, ding, ding noise as if the key is in the ignition, even though the key is in my hand. Help - this is driving me crazy, I can't wait to get out of the vehicle and close the door to stop the dinging. When I open the door to start the vehicle, it starts dinging again until I get in and close the door.
