hi i've had this problem for some time now, my 01 blazer LT 4x4 has had the abs and parking brake light come on randomly when i start my blazer, some times it will and sometimes it wont, when it comes on it doesnt go out until i shut the vehicle off and start it again.....sometimes it goes out that way, sometimes.....others i just have to drive it to where i'm going then when i get out and do what i have to do and get back in and start it it goes out....it seems to never come on after i drive it a while only when i first start it up.......?????!!!!
when it was raining last week i tried slamming on the brakes to see what would happen....and the rear started to slide..the front seemed to work it did it's usual shuffle that abs does but the rear didnt......
i tried using brake cleaner to clean the brake parts in the back thinking that could be the problem but to no avail.....i'm still stuck with this problem.....brought the vehicle to checker auto parts the scanned it but their scanner doesnt pick up abs codes so i'm kinda screwed here i guess.......
