Tires and Wheels problem
2004 Other Chevrolet Models 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 70000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Can you please give me advice on what could be wrong with the car? Yesterday my friend was backing out of parking spot and you heard a god awful noise she turned the wheel and got out the wheel was turned to the left as the driver side front tire was, but the passenger side front tire was turned all the way to the right so they were in a sense like this \ / but the driver side was all the way to the left and the passenger side was all the way to the right like an alligator mouth. Do you know what happened or what is broken. After turning the wheel a few times she was able to turn both wheels back to straight, and pull back into the parking space. Is it a broken tie rod and do you know how much it can cost to repair? Please let me know ASAP. Thank you,Amber
