my 96 chev 1500. 5.7 eng. The tach and speedometer will quit working. When this happens, the truck will not shift into OD. If I stop pull over and restart the truck, most times it will work. IF I see the tach isn't working, I know the truck will not shift into OD. I know my transmission is the electronic type. Is there a part I can replace? Sensor etc. etc. Fluid is clean and smells good. No slippage. Thanks for the help.
