1994 Other Chevrolet Models Truck dose not have all its powe

My 1994 chevy 1500 has been having a hard time starting out it idles ok and revs up but when i let the clutch out and start out it jumps and jerks really bad. Dose ok in higher gears and faster speeds. Then i go a 44 code for it running lean so i replaced the o2 sensor and it is still acting up. I all so replaced the plugs, distributor cap,rotor,and a new fuel fillter and i found two wires on the coil that had insulation off of them and where touching i really thought that would fix it but still not working very well.
