1984 Other Chevrolet Models fusible link ratings

how can you determine the fusible link's
amperage rating. where is a table that
gives the rating with repect to fusible wire size

I have an '84 G30 chev van rv which has
a fusible link to protect the lighting circuits.
The fusible link consisted was cylindrical and had
markings of 204 and on one end a 16. The fuse is
still good but the wiring connection had broken at the fuse.
I could not determine the amperage of the link but
what I did was replace it with a plug fuse so I could
replace it when it blew.

The ignition also has a fusible link which I want to
replace with a plugable fuse. It has a 14 ga fusible
link. what amp plug in fuse can replace it?
