1980 Other Chevrolet Models 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive

how do check if u joints need to be replaced.I just replaced the clutch in my car. I have a loud clunking noise when i shift gears.

if this is a front wheel drive car check to see if the shaft boots are broken or cracked. if they are the grease has been blownn out and you'll need to probably replace the shaft that is bad.
