Hi, I have a 1970 Chevrolet Nova, 350, with a brand spankin new edelbrock 600 carb.. I just swithced from a 670 holley street avenger. Ever since I put on the New carb, sometimes when I am accelerating fast the car will stop giving power and spit and sputter until I let off the gas petal and re-apply it, then it does fine... I have a new fuel filter and I hooked up a guage to check fuel pressure which was at 7 1/2 and when no lower then 5 when accelerating quickly.. I have been taking the car to a mechanic, and the only thing he could come up with was that it was a bad Carb, so I took it back, and got another new one, but it still is doing the same thing.. Please help me! I am out of options at this point. Thank you much.
