Engine Performance problem
1976 Chevy Nova V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic
I just swapped 350 motors with my neighbor before we put it in it idled awesome however since the swap it idles really rough and tries to die when put into reverse or drive. We just did a usual swap didn't take the motors apart just disconnected from the fly wheel. The only thing that we changed is he had an 8 quart oil pan and the wouldn't fit into our nova, so I pulled off the feeds and changed them since his was too long for my regular capacity pan, however while doing this the two grears came out and I naturally rotated them and notice that the long shaft rotated of course but is it possible that when the shaft turned that it knocked off the timing since the distibutor and the pump shaft are connected?!? anything helps it's my our daily driver and my wife isn't happy at all
