Brakes problem
1972 Chevy Nova V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a 72 Nova subframe under my 1937 Hudson Terraplane, 454/400, and it has drum brakes. Can you tell me what cars and what years I can get the disc brakes and springs from, to swap over? I was told that only V/8 models had disc brakes. Is that right? Thanks in advance for your help.

72 should have front steering (all tie rods in front of control arms) Camaro/Firebird will work, they are all "F" bodies.cant think of them name of them, but the Pontiac version of the Nova will wok as well. Google "72 GM F-bodies" and see what you can find for a list of donor cars. Once you find out, the aftermarket makes alot of drop spindles and lowering control arms to give your Hudson that nice raked look

Thanks for the info, buddy. I'll check out available donors before starting. I may be wrong, but I was of the understanding, that a "front steer" car, meant that the steering box was in front of the cross member. I'm asking cause I DON'T know. Thanks again for your help.
