heating problem Monte Carlo 95

changed the themostat, water pump, still after starting it,it blows cold air, and ends up registering hot, I drove it Friday all day not problem, I stopped at a store left to go home and it got hot, let it cool off and it did fine, any ideas or suggestions? 1995 Chevy Monte Carlo, mileage 188,000

check the fluids , then check to see if the fan belt is the fan belt slips they can both cause the same symtoms
