2003 Chevy Monte Carlo Windshield washer pump

2003 Chevy Monte Carlo 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My washer pump is not working. Where is it located. Is it something that a mechanically inclined novice can repair or replace. How can I check to see if it is working.

thewasher pump is located by the washer fluid on the bottom of the resevoir. When you turn it on do you hear it trying to work? You could have clogged nozzles and if its cold out, {below freezing} the pump could be frozen if you had just used water instead of windshiel washer fluid that wont freeze. you can check it using a static tester. Unplug the electrical connection and see if you have power to it when you turn the washer pump on.
