2001 Chevy Monte Carlo how to install driver side exterior

there should be apanel behind the mirror on the door that will have a screw or just pop out. then you will see 3 nuts usually. remove those the mirror should come off. If it's electric you'll have to disconnect the connection and may have to remove the door panel which may ppop off with a coulple of screws by the lower handle. if it has the cables to operate it you 'll have to unscrew the escutcheon that holds it to the door panel.
